The United States of America in a newly released Most Wanted List has retained the $7million reward placed on the Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.The list which was released on 6 May,2015 contains the names of 71 most-wanted terrorists in the world including Shekau’s.
However, the Nigerian military has said that finding Shekau is not its priority after an intensive operation in Sambisa Forest failed to yield any information on his whereabouts.
Reports however have it that the Boko Haram leader might have fled Nigeria with the aid of Islamic State operatives.
