The creator of "Oprah" and "Dr phil", Michael king died yesterday after a brief illness.
Tmz reports that the deceased and his wife had gone to France several weeks ago to visit their son and when they returned home, he had contracted an infection. king was admitted in cedars Sinai medical center in west Hollywood where he was treated for pneumonia and placed on a ventilator.
Due to the continuous deterioration of his health, he was removed from life support at 1pm yesterday and he died several hours later at the age of 66.
Until his death, he was the CEO of King World productions and considered one of the most successful producers in TV history.
